Back in the summer of last year we decided to do a few little jobs in the gallery, this ended up being a few rather large jobs as we decided to take two walls down in the gallery to create both a new exhibition room and a behind the scenes studio space.
Our new 'dark gallery' space opened at the end of December with an Emma Butler exhibition and both the fabulous paintings by Emma & the new space have been really well received, we are really thrilled with everything.
When the building was first taken on by us in 2017 a lot of work was needed we have added some photographs of the very beginning of the work as it has been so lovely to bring such a beautiful building back to life again after it had been unloved for a long time!
Now renovation work has started on the upstairs of the gallery too, we can't wait for it to be finished so that we can show you all everything we have been up to (mainly dusting for us)!!
